As a sickle cell patient(27) who had to undergo surgery to cure priapism 2 mnths ago, Now unable to have an erection, are there hopes for a remedy?
( 9 Jun 2006)

Importance of medical intervention for Priapism is essential to avoid the likelihood of permanent erectile dysfunction. About 42% men with sickle cell develop priapism. Priapism does not usually resolve by itself and the goal of treatment is not focused on treating the cause but to make the painful erection go away.

Your surgeon would be the best person to guide you regarding remedies for your condition.
