Milk owes its benefits of skin care to its fat and lactic acid content. This alpha hydroxy acid has the ability to penetrates the skin. It also sothes the skin, leaving it supple and smooth.
A simple recipe of a tsp of milk powder with 2 tsp of gram flour makes the skin glow. A paste of 1 tsp milk powder + 2 drops basil + 1 pinch sugar + 2 drops lemon is applied on the face. Wiped after 10 - 15 minutes, is beneficial for moisturising dry skin.
