Home remedy for Thrush
is there a home remedy for thrush. My mom is a smoker and 79. Her tongue is red and looks as if she has a rash there.

First step would be to encourage your mom to stop smoking. The next step is to increase probiotic intake: eat a good quality yogurt 2-3 times per day and purchase a good quality probiotic from a health food store. Look for a product that is kept cold.
