In between one of my finger there is dryness and cracked? What is causing this? I keep it dry but it not helping. Please suggest?

In all probability, you are suffering from what is commonly known as a water cut. This typically happens when we tend to neglect to dry between our fingers after a bath. The water that is left behind there tends to accumulate and generally fester there. Over a period of time, it starts cutting into the skin. These are commonly known as water cuts. They may also appear to be red and dry, but this is the reason. In order to take care of water cuts, you need to make sure that you are keeping your hands totally dry at all times. The best way to ensure this is to use a hair dryer each time you wash your hands. Do this for a few days, till this water cut heals. This is also an extremely hygienic method of drying your hands. After your hands are completely dry, you can apply any healing ointment that is formulated for cuts and scratches on this. This will work well enough. Try this method for about three to five days. If you do not see a difference, then the problem probably lies elsewhere. It is possible that you are suffering from a bacterial or fungal infection in the area. Sometimes, when there are extra deposits of water, perspiration or soap left there, then the skin in the areas will tend to develop an infection. You can then use another set of remedies for this.

Try to sanitize your skin by cleansing it with hydrogen peroxide. This is quite effective in killing germs of all kinds. Then you can apply a paste made with a bit of thick and fresh yogurt and a small amount of turmeric powder on it. If the infection is fungal in nature, the yogurt will go a long way towards healing it. The live and active cultures present in the yogurt will feed off and kill the fungus very effectively. The turmeric powder has the property to heal the skin and will do so within a day or two. You should be clear of the abrasion quite easily and quickly. As an alternative, you can also dilute a drop of tea tree oil in a couple of drops of castor oil and apply this. It will help to heal the area very well, since tea tree oil is anti fungal in nature and it also functions as a fungicide. These methods can be tried for a week.
