Home Made Enema Remedies: Please Suggest Some Enema Remedies.

Enemas are used to cleanse the colon and ensure good bowel movement. A clean colon is essential for healthy functioning of your system. Enemas help to cure a number of diseases. There are many types of enemas and each one is unique and is used to treat a specific problem. You have not mentioned your problem or reason for using enema so here are a few general ones that can be easily prepared at home in your kitchen itself. The bag used to administer the enema will be the only thing you would need to get from your local medical or health store.

For colon cleansing: Take 2 quarts of warm filtered water and mix 2 teaspoons of pure sea salt in it. Drink it slowly through the morning on an empty stomach, after you wake up. Pure sea salt is rich in sea minerals and along with warm water it will help flush out all the toxins from your body.

For home made enema buy a good quality enema tube and bag from your local health store and you can use any of the following solutions:

  • Take about sixteen ounces of lukewarm purified water and add 2 tsp of salt to it. You might need to use some lubrication to insert the enema tube. Pure petroleum jelly is absolutely safe and effective.
  • Take 16 ounces of warm milk, 11/2 quart of warm water and a tbsp of olive oil. Mix well and pour in the enema bag to administer the enema. This is a very mild enema and is absolutely safe for everyone to use without any side effects.
  • You could also use a solution of mineral oil and glycerine. Take 2 tablespoon of glycerine, 2 tablespoon of mineral oil, 11/2 quart of warm water and 2 tablespoon of salt. Mix well and pour into the enema bag. This is an excellent cleanser for your colon.
  • You can also make a good enema using two tablespoon of vinegar and two quarts of warm purified water. Vinegar helps to kill the bacteria and cleanse the colon effectively.

An Epsom salt enema with garlic is also great to cleanse the colon. Take two quarts of warm purified water, add three cloves of finely chopped garlic and then boil and simmer for about 5 minutes. Strain and add two tablespoon of Epsom salts to it. Stir until it dissolves fully. Once it gets lukewarm pour into the enema bag and use.
