  • Regular exercise is essential to get rid of the stretch marks. Exercise helps in toning and firming your body, thus preventing stretch marks. This is because stretch marks usually occur when the skin becomes loose.
  • Eat more of proteins and foods rich in Vitamin C. Balanced amount of Vitamin E also helps in promoting tissue growth and thereby prevents stretch marks.
  • Massage your body gently with essential oils such as olive oil and Vitamin E oil.
  • Take one ounce carrier oil that can be avocado, sweet almond or jojoba. Pour few drops of lavender oil and chamomile oil in this carrier oil. Massage gently with the prepared oil mixture.
  • Application of cocoa butter and elastin cream are also good for reducing stretch marks.
  • Prepare a mixture using virgin olive oil, liquid extracted from vitamin E capsules, aloe vera gel and liquid extracted from Vitamin A. Blend the mixture well and store for use. Apply this mixture on the areas that are more prone to stretch marks. This will cure as well as prevent occurrence of stretch marks.
  • Use of aroma oil also helps in reducing stretch marks.
  • Eat more nuts and seeds that are rich in zinc. This prevents stretch marks.
