Health advice for burnt tongue
  • Take 1 tsp of sugar and keep it on your tongue. Now, stick your tongue to the roof of your mouth and let sugar melt. Repeat this process 2 to 3 times till the burning sensation recedes.

  • Suck on an ice cube till it melts. Do this for 7 to 10 minutes. You can also place a little crushed ice on your tongue and let it melt slowly.

  • Put a thick coat of the cream of milk on your tongue and keep it there for 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Rinse your mouth with cold water for 4 or 5 times. You can also take a gulp of water, keep it in your mouth and spit it out.
  • Try applying a little toothpaste on your tongue for 3 to 4 minutes and then wash it with cold water.
  • Apply a little tea tree oil or chamomile oil to the burn. You can also place a cool tea bag on your tongue for 2 or 3 minutes.
  • Apply some Aloe Vera gel on your tongue and wash it off with ice cold water after 1 or 2 minutes.
  • Apply the juice of cucumber or wash your mouth with it. You can also rinse your mouth with the juice.
