Steatosis Hepatis natural cures

My husband had fatty liver according to the scan report, he doesn not consume alchohol or smoke, so what are the precaution to take to prevent problem form this.

Steatosis Hepatis Natural Cures

Steatosis or fatty liver is a chronic condition demanding attention. Fatty liver, in course of time results in hepatitis or liver inflammation, cessation of liver cells and cirrhosis. Starvation and protein malnutrition results in fatty liver.


Alcohol affects liver metabolism.  Endocrine disorders, certain medications and chemicals cause fatty infiltration of the liver. Milk thistle with olive oil or fish oil is a proven remedy.


A mixture of licorice, artichoke, dandelion and milk thistle helps in detoxification and healing the liver cells. Supplementation of omega 3 fatty acids in the form of fish oil (1-5 grams per day) helps in reducing inflammation. Choline (1.5 grams) aids in reducing fat deposits in steatosis. Coenzyme Q supplements are advised under physician's guidance. Raw vegetables and fruits are taken. Processed foods and artificial sweeteners are avoided. Dairy foods are restricted and margarine and other fats are prohibited. Immediate care is essential, as delay results in irreversible damage.
