How to build immune system?

(Last Updated: Mar 19, 2008)

There are several ways to strengthen and build up a weakened immune system. Among the first things you should do is include a 30 minute exercise session in your daily routine. If you are unable to do anything strenuous, you can just take a walk. Make it a point to do this everyday and not skip any days at all. Exercise improves your circulation, breathing, develops your lungs, heart and the entire musculature and bone structure of your body and generally leads to good health. You can also include Yoga in your exercise regimen, as this will also help you grow stronger. Try to omit processed foods from your diet as much as you can. These contain preservatives and chemicals that can only cause harm to your system, thereby weakening it.

You must also start taking Indian gooseberry (indian gooseberry) powder as a part of your daily routine. This is quite easily available in powder form and a teaspoon of it can be taken everyday. Indian gooseberry is the richest source of Vitamin C, which helps boost immunity. You can also supplement your diet with other natural sources of Vitamin C such as cherries, guavas, black currants, grapefruit, papayas, mango, custard apples, oranges, kiwis and water melons. You can also have a tablet of Echinacea every day, which is known for its properties of improving immunity.
