Do You Have Any Remedies For Discolored Spots On The Skin?

You have not mentioned how long you have had these spots for. And from what you have stated you have not been to a doctor either. As harmless as these spots look I would suggest that you go to the dermatologist at least once and get it checked. Loss of melanin could also lead to white spots or patches and may spread if left untreated. The white spots on your skin could be due to several reasons. In case the spots are due to a fungal infection an early diagnosis and treatment would benefit you greatly. It is best to get a medical check up and see what the doctor has to say about it. Then you would know whether to leave it alone or get a medical treatment for the same. An early diagnosis is always better than waiting till the problem gets worse.

Some general things to keep in mind are to avoid stress and try to relax. You can practice meditation for de-stressing. Do not use harsh cosmetics on the affected area as that might make the problem worse. Stick to natural organic products that are suitable for your skin type. Eat a balanced diet rich in fresh fruits and vegetables and whole grains. You can try some home remedies for it as listed below. Take the juice from fresh cabbage leaves and apply it liberally on the affected area. You can also try applying cabbage leaves directly on the affected part. Just make sure that the cabbage leaves are flat and bruise them or prick them with a fork before applying to ensure that the juice from the leaves reaches your skin. Also increase the intake of cabbage in your daily diet. Cabbage juice is considered very effective in treating light discolorations of the skin. Do this regularly to get the desired result.

  • Have ginger juice mixed with lemon juice and water, as ginger juice is known to increase the flow of blood to the white patches and improving the condition of your skin.
  • Eat walnuts and figs regularly for a month as this effectively gets rid of the white spots and patches. Also have buttermilk daily after lunch.
  • Make a paste of black gram and apply this paste regularly on the affected area to clear the white spots and restore the skins color.
  • Applying the oil of tulsi or the holy basil on the affected area is also considered to be helpful in treating white spots.
