What is the best remedy for gastritis?



When the lining of your stomach suffers an inflammation, you are suffering from gastritis. Gastritis is usually caused by the type of food that we consume. This if you consume with large quantities of alcohol or on some types of drugs then you are likely to develop gastritis. Some people suffer from gastritis after they have undergone a major surgery. Infections, burns and other injuries can also cause a person to suffer from gastritis. You will know that you are suffering from this condition because of the feeling of nausea that you experience. You should eat one teaspoon of carom seeds with a pinch of salt. Chew the seeds slowly, allowing the juices to go down your throat. You will notice that chewing on a piece of fresh ginger will also give you relief from the pain and discomfort you are suffering. Chewing fennel seeds is another very effective way of reducing the pain and discomfort. Drinking the water of a green coconut can give you relief. An excellent remedy for gastritis is consuming vegetable juices. You can mix 300 ml of carrot juice with 200 ml of spinach juice. Drink this once every day and you will find that you don't suffer from any pain or discomfort. Another vegetable juice which is beneficial is potato juice. You can drink half a cup of potato juice before you eat your meals. This will help reduce the discomfort. You can also drink lime juice, made by adding the juice of half a lemon to a cup of water and adding a pinch of salt in it. Licorice root tea is another effective remedy to get over the discomfort. You can use about half a teaspoon of licorice root tea and pour hot water over this. Let this steep for ten minutes and then strain and drink. Extract the juice of one small ball of tamarind. Add some asafetida to this. Mix in some cumin. Drink this. You can also add some asafetida and some cumin to watered down buttermilk and drink this at regular intervals.

A hot water bottle can provide some amount of comfort and you can also use one to reduce the pain in your stomach.
