I really need help on my sore throat and my ears being blocked please get back to me?

A sore throat is usually caused by a bacterial or a viral infection and usually is a symptom of the common cold or the flu. However, it is possible that your sore throat might be a symptom of something a little more serious such as strep. To soothe your sore throat, ensure that you gargle with warm salt water a couple of times a day. Adding cayenne pepper to a gargling solution is also thought to be beneficial. Drinking chamomile tea with honey will also relieve your throat. Ensure that your home is humidified and that you drink plenty of liquids. If your symptoms continue for more than a couple of days, you should consult a doctor.

If your ears are blocked as well, then it is very likely that you are suffering from a bad cold. Heat up some olive oil and put a few drops in the affected ear and allow the oil to seep in completely. Then, cover your ear with a cloth and lie down with your ear on the ground to allow the ear to drain out. You should try and yawn frequently because this will help to unblock the ears quickly and effectively. You can also try and swallow frequently because this is also thought to be beneficial.
