How to get rid of mouth ulcers?

The small white spots that appear on the inside the mouth, on the lip, or on the tongue are known as mouth ulcers or canker sores. These sores are usually very painful and prohibit you from being able to eat, drink, or even speak properly. Mouth ulcers can occur as a single infection or even in clusters and may first be accompanied by a burning sensation in your mouth. There is no known cause for these ulcers but they could be caused by a number of reasons which include bowel problems, bad dental hygiene, stress, food allergies, and bad nutritional habits. Other probable causes include the accidental rupture of the sensitive skin of the mouth while you are chewing or speaking, the herpes virus, and any hormonal imbalance.

You can treat a mouth ulcer by gargling with chilled water and tepid water alternatively. Boil some coriander seeds in some water and then allow the mixture to cool. You can then use this to gargle with. It is also recommended that you use coconut milk and honey to treat your ulcers. Ensure that you avoid the intake of spicy food and also cut down completely on coffee and tea. Mix equal parts of hydrogen peroxide and water and then apply this solution on the sore. You can also use a salt water gargle to soothe the pain and irritation caused by the sores. Remember that if your sores have not healed in about two weeks, you should consult your doctor at once.
