Health advice on colon cleansing

what or how do i go about a good colon cleanse and does it matter if the person is still young to do it like 33

In the last few decades, more and more of us have started to become dependent on junk food and other processed foods. This continuing degeneration of our diet not only exposes us to various lifestyle diseases but some that are near fatal. Our health, which depends so much on the nutrition and nourishment that we receive from our food, begins to fall apart. The digestive tract becomes overloaded with things that we shouldn’t be stuffing into it. The liver becomes toxic, cholesterol begins to shoot up, and all of these physiological changes also have an impact on our emotional health. A continued presence of toxins in our body can lead to the slow deterioration of the neurons, ultimately decreasing the hold of the brain on our body. The increasing degree of brain damage is not realized when you are young. However, as you age, you realize the impact that the bad eating habits have on your body. Therefore, you have chosen the right time to set out on a journey of good health.

This unhealthy, modern lifestyle that we are so proud of has long lasting impacts on our colon, the last part of our digestive system. The colon, one of the most important organs of our body, is the base from which all diseases start to affect our body. The slow toxic build up in the colon can be easily passed on to the blood stream, causing the entire body to get infected. Fortunately, we have the choice to improve our own health and therefore, it is best that you start as soon as you can to start reclaiming your own health. The health of our body depends on two main things—what we eat and how we eliminate our waste. There are two ways to cleanse your colon. One is to go to a clinic and get it done through a colonic irrigation. The second one is something that you can do yourself, at home, using commonly available home ingredients. The bottom line is to remove any toxins or fecal matter that could have got lodged in the colon.

The first step is to drink two glasses of warm water with salt first thing in a morning. Do this on an empty stomach, every day. This will help eliminate the toxins in the colon and also increase the bowel movement to make it regular. The colon will get free of any deposited material within it. For a more occasional cleanse, you can add a spoon of castor oil to warm milk and drink it once every month.

We have various natural enema options that you can use to cleanse your colon. You can safely use these options at your age.

In my opinion, the best colon cleanses are done by certified colon hydrotherapists using equipment specifically designed for this purpose.  The procedure normally takes 1-1 1/2 hours and is very comfortable and private.  The idea is to be able to irrigate the colon up to the ileo-cecal junction.  At home, using an enema, it is only possible to irrigate the colon a relatively short distance.  Oral "colon cleanses" are simply a mixture of cathartic herbs and fiber and work by creating diarrhea to "flush" the system.  As long as colon cleanses do not become a substitute for normal bowel movements, they can be done safely by most adults as part of a more complete de-tox or cleansing program.  Some cautions are noted for people with certain bowel diseases and health conditions, so it is helpful to consult your health care practitioner prior to having a cleanse.
