Advice on graying hair

How to stop graying hair at young age ?

Most often, graying hair at a young age is a genetic tendency. Do other members of your family have graying hair at a young age as well?

If not, try taking a good protein powder daily, such as from brown rice. After a month or two, you should notice thicker, more lustrous hair.

Also, moderate the stress in your life. Stress has been known to cause gray hair. Consider taking yoga or tai chi classes for good stress management.

I would recommend a multi-faceted approach. The best answers can be found in Traditional Chinese Medicine which sees early greying as a deficiency of the kidneys.

You should do as many of the following as possible:

  • Visit an acupuncturist and get on Chinese herbs.
  • Visit a Naturopathic Doctor and correct possible mineral and nutrient deficiencies.
  • Comb your hair often with a natural bristle brush.
  • Switch to all natural shampoos and conditioners, avoid products with sodium lauryl sulfate, fragrances and many other things. I love Aubrey products, the make a ginseng shampoo for men and its a great product. www.aubrey.com
  • Reduce stress!
  • Get massage.
