I have had bleeding gums. Im not sure if it as I'm run down, or a dental problem or diet. I have been on a vegan diet for 6 months strictly.

Ideas yes...in naturopathic practice, one needs to review the potential causes for symptoms. Bleeeding gums may be the result of hormone imbalances, improper brushing techniques, and vitamin deficiences, etc. If you have recently begun a vegan diet, then a potential cause for your bleeding gums may be B-vitamin deficiencies. You may have your status checked through blood tests or you may consider doing an oral "folic acid rinse" and taking additional B-vitamins. It is a real challenge on a vegan diet to obtain sufficient B-vitamins without supplementation. An appropriate health care practitioner may be able to assist you through appropriate testing, IM injections, sublingual or oral products.
