There are several herbal (non-caffeine) coffee alternatives available in grocery stores. If you want to quit coffee, it is important to do so gradually. A suggested strategy would be to gradually increase the herbal coffee mixture in your coffee over a period of two-three weeks. Be aware of caffeine withdrawal symptoms such as headaches, etc. If you use instant coffee you can also blend it with an instant coffee substitute. Also be cautious of your soft drink intake during this time since many soft drinks contain caffeine. If you are drinking both coffee and colas, the best approach would be to eliminate coffee first.
Supporting your liver, and ensuring you are getting proper exercise during this time will be helpful. B-vitamins, proper minerals and elimination are also important. Please ensure you are drinking alot of pure/filtered water to help your body eliminate.
