They have difficulty in analyzing their preferences and can not always realize their true potential and this leads to psychological stress. They are easily attracted to immoral social behavior as it makes them feel unconventional and they thrive on that. Whatever their parents tell them, they defy as they have the feeling that parents like to scold them and stop them from having fun.

Many teenagers take up summer jobs and gain self confidence while learning skills. But if the job is not to their liking and they are just doing it for money’s sake, they don’t get paid properly or their employers are abusive, results in further levels of job stress. This stress in teens is completely different from children characteristics of stress.
Stress causes teenagers to become very unappealing and social misfits. They have no sense of belonging and drift away wherever they get warmth or easy acceptance.
