NEEM AND TEA TREE ESSENTIAL OILS MASSAGE

suggested by Olivia on Friday, November 2, 2007

Besides the sea salt peel remedy you should also try to use margosa and tea tree organic soap bars. Once a week(preferably in the evening) after you do the sea salt peel massage your entire body with this mix: (Prepare it once, it will last for a month!) 10 ml of virgin olive oil 3 drops of tea tree essential oil 3 drops of margosa essential oil. Do not use more than the stated quantity! Tea tree and margosa essential oils are the best anti fungal remedies!

Versicolor at bay

suggested by Conley on Wednesday, October 31, 2007

I'm 54 and could write a book on the subject.Soaps, creams, oral med's,ect, ect, ect. Long story short [for me at least]is start with your feet. You wouldn't believe how much of your blood is passing through those sweaty shoes that don't breath well and under your nails. So clean them, clip them and change your socks and shoes, often as you can.Sue was the closest with the Clotrimazole but get it in a topical solution and apply it to your toenails each time you shower. Do some research on nail fungus to understand this problem and their consequence. My Best

SEA SALT&OLIVE OIL PEEL EXCELLENT REMEDY!

suggested by OLIVIA on Thursday, October 25, 2007

I've been suffering from this skin problem for 8 months untill I decided to try this naturist peel twice a week: 4 Teaspoons of sea salt(found in supermarket) 2 spoons of virgin olive oil 2 spoons of fresh lemon juice Mix these ingredients in a cup . While showering take the salt in your hand and rub it throughly on the affected skin area. (you can also use a loofah glove to help you.) The brown patches will dissapear! Do not use any chemical shower gels or soaps anymore. Use only natural hand made soaps from CHAGRIN VALLEY/ patchouli soap for eczema.

I have it too, can't get rid of the stuff. But I've found that using a veggie based honey oatmeal glycerine soap helps keep it at bay.

Irritating Tinea Versicolor

suggested by Sue on Sunday, October 7, 2007

I have tried many methods to help, but none get rid of it. The selsun bule treatment for 10 minutes twice a day, helps some. i also tried using clotrimazole (antifungal cream) that helps, but the coloring never leaves completely. I will be trying other things suggested on here and will keep you posted.

I am 25 and have had this funky skin deal for 9 years... It comes and goes but I noticed that if I put "selsun blue" shampoo on the spots for 10min once a day... rinse off. It clears up w/i 2 weeks. Also selenium supplements. SELENIUM is key!

Tinea Versicolor Remedy

suggested by Cindy on Tuesday, August 28, 2007

I have been suffering from this crazy skin infection since I was a teenager, mostly in Summer. Try tea-tree oil, applied directly to the skin. Its the only remedy I have found, and is the only essential oil to be applied directly to the skin safely. I put it in my bath water as well.
