News paper, white plate, preferably heat tolerant. Tear strips of news paper, couple inches long, 1-2 inches wide. Put in plate and light. Let the paper burn out. Blow out the ashes as to reduce the blackness. Now, in the plate u should see a yellowish residue. Rub the yellow residue over the affected area. Its easier if the residue is still warm. Use a clean finger that works best. Twice a day for about 2 days. However, the more often you do this the quicker it goes away.

Tanning Salon for ringworm
suggested by Ian
on Friday, April 18, 2008
Go tanning, cures it almost immediately. I had what I would consider a severe case, with a 7, and 5 inch lesions on my left and right triceps respectively. The Doc's prescription did nothing. Rubbing Alcohol and Hydrogen Peroxide worked somewhat. After spreading to my biceps, forearms, back and forehead I was desperate. A friend suggested tanning, and after the first 10 min session the smaller sores were gone, and after the second 10 min session, the large, ugly sore were merely dry patches. Make sure it's a reputable salon that cleans the beds in front of you before you go, to avoid giving it to some other poor sap.
