Prevention and relief

suggested by Tessa on Friday, September 14, 2007

Regular exercise prevents menstrual cramps. If you experience cramps, put a hot water bottle on your abdomen. If that still doesn't help, take a pain reliever. Tylenol (500mg) works best for me.

Aviod cramps

suggested by Cary on Thursday, December 21, 2006

My cramps become worse when using tampons, so use pads when ever possible. On the first 3-4 days of period take 400 milligrams of Ibuprofen with a glass of milk in the morning. Don't over sleep or stay in bed too long, yes I understand that you are unbelievably tired, but the more you're moving the better. Bananas and milk are your fried eat and drink a lot of them to reduce pain.
