Hiccup - Be - G
suggested by Elizabeth
on Sunday, October 28, 2007
When you have those annoying hiccups, this will work every single time! All you have to do is get a fresh Lime or Lemon(Limes work alot better). Cut it into wedges, bite into a wedge, suck the juice out, and swallow it slowly. You will feel a tingling, bubbly sensation moving from your throat, down to the middle of your chest. That means they are gone! You will not try anything else once you try this!

My Hiccup Cure
suggested by Terry
on Tuesday, October 23, 2007
This works 95% of the time for me. Slowly inhale air into your lungs until you cannot possibly inhale another bit. Hold this for 5 to 10 seconds. Then just as slowly as you inhaled, exhale until you cannot possibly exhale any more. -or- concentrate on the muscles that cause a hiccup. Mentally and physically try to make your muscles move to recreate the hiccup on your own (which is nearly impossible, but your brain and body are concentrated on something else and does not continue with the hiccups).

match and water
suggested by Karen
on Wednesday, September 5, 2007
All you will need is two matches and a glass of water. Lighet the2matches at the same time. when the matches are fully lit through them into the glass of water. As soon as the matches hit the water chug the glass of water not swallowing the matches. It will feel like you are going to hiccup for a few minutes but you wont. If you do however repeat this again but with more water. Works for me all the time.
