Gatoraide! Any flavor, 12 oz. or so, take some to bed and drink during the night if you wake up thirsty. Then in the morning, 2 more 12 oz. bottles. If you are able to eat, take motrin afterwards. Works like a charm!

When you wake up, have a glass of water. The main effect of alcohol is dehydration, so you've got to get some electrolytes back in you. Have some pretzels and a banana if you've any on hand, as the salt and potassium help the headache and the food settles your stomach. Then alternate hot tea and ice water, and wash it down with a little brandy (but the brandy is optional- sometimes I don't want to LOOK at a drink the next day).

Grape Kool-Aid

Before going to be eat anything you can and drink lots of water. In the morning take your favorite head ache remedy and drink a glass of grape kool-aid, I've tried other flavors but grape seems to work the best. This combo has never failed me yet!!

 

Quick Relief for Hangovers!

Make sure before you go to bed after a heavy night of drinking that you take an antioxidant supplement, a vitamin C and drink at least 3 glasses of water. In the morning, your symptoms will be reduced. However, follow up the next morning by drinking a large glass of strong coffee. Alcohol is a depressant and coffe is a stimulant. Addtionally, be sure to eat some eggs WITH their yolks. The yolks contain antioxidants which are critical to healthy liver function. 1 aspirin can also help reduce the inflammation caused by drinking. As always, be sure to take your daily dose of regular vitamins with your eggs and you should be feeling better in no time - works for me!

A lot happens when you ingest alcohol. It is an intoxicant, an anesthetic, and is also a toxin. Unlike most toxins, alcohol does not affect a single area or function of the body; it's pretty much bad for everything. OK, to prevent hangovers, load up on B vitamins. B vitamins are not stored in your body, you need them every day and are beneficial in dealing with various forms of stress. If you get a hangover what you have done is poison yourself with alcohol. That is stress. Hangover treatment. The morning after poisoning yourself you feel rotten . . . you just poisoned yourself! The same thing happens in hospitals. They give you ether which has the same effects as alcohol (more potent)to keep you unconscious. When you wake you are given a STRONG pain killer to deal with the effects of the ether. That is where "The Hair Of The Dog That Bit You" comes in. ONE good stiff drink and it's all over. Then, go have a cup of coffee and drink lots of fluids and replace the vitamin B as well. After all you're probably going to do it again tonight.

The worst part of a hangover is the stomach ache (gut rot) Throughout the many years and many many parties the 1 thing I have found that helps is Dr. Pepper. In the morning before you eat take 2 advil and drink a warm Dr. Pepper. It helps with the headache, keeps it at bay if it has not arrived yet and calms the stomach so you can eat. Since starting doing this quite a few years ago I have not had an actual hangover. Many times it goes away before it gets here. :)

First step to this 100% guaranteed cure is waking up leaving yourself enough time to venture out for a double sausage and egg mcmuffin (Please Note the Hash brown must be placed in the muffin. Once consumed it must be followed up with a Fizzy Orange lucozade (Please Note once again Still, or any other flavour does not have enough goodness for this to work). Once stage one is complete you should head for a steam room down the gym, which helps release all the badness consumed the night before. Followed by a nice big Poo. This is a guaranteed remedy and you will feel great after.

I've been drinking for ten years and bartending for 6, and this works everytime...Before u go to bed sit out one can of beer, when u wake up drink the warm beer eat something and then drink water. Don't ever take tylenol even Ibuprofen is bad it can cause stomach bleeding trust me it made me throw up blood before. "Hair of the dog" always works so u can take a shot or drink one drink of whatever u were drinking the night before, and remember Liquor before beer ur in the clear beer before liquor never sicker.
