halitosis

My son had TERRIBLE breath to the point that it would fill the room. Took him to dentist, doctors, with no avail. One day as I was grocery shopping I decided not to buy my son's block of cheddar cheese (sometimes marble) that he would eat daily because it was getting costly. Low and behold, in a couple days, bad breath disappeared completely! Something in the cheese. So I think alot of peoples' problems with halitosis might just be one thing in their diet.

Beware of peroxyde for mouthwash
suggested by Gerri
on Monday, April 2, 2007
I have lichen planus and used peroxyde to heal the burning red in my mouth. My dentist told me that peroxyde cauterizes (spelling) the skin and I could get ulcers under neath putting me in big trouble. I guess if you don't have your problems coming from within your body you would be fine. I used it 6 times before calling my dentist and it worked like a hot dam and is still good...so I guess the bottom line is not to over use it in cases like mine. My mouth would not heal for 2 years until I used the peroxyde. Also, I had a glass of red wine and my teeth stained because the peroxyde bleached them out. Sip through a straw when you drink tea or coffee or wine while doing it. Also, the baking soda is very rough if you don't mix it with something. I put it on my brush with tooth paste.

bad breath
suggested by [unspecified] on Saturday, February 17, 2007
All it takes is daily flossing and/or swishing peroxide afterwards. mouth wash is bad for gums and doesn't actually cure the problem. plaque is what makes your breath stink... smell the floss after you use it. also drink lots and lots of water. sodas and juice are bad for teeth, gums and the esophagus.

remedy for bad breath

Use Hydrogen Peroxyde 3% as your mouthwash morning and evening, baking soda and before bed gargle with a solution made of half a lemon and water.
Floss regularly, scrape tongue with tongue scraper,or plastic spoon, massage gums with clean index finger.Don't leave food particles in your mouth.Stay away from alcohol based commercial mouthwashes as they dry the mouth.
Guaanteed results no matter how bad your breath was or how long you have had the problem. Also only use sugar-free gum.
Oh and by the way I am a long time chronic bad breath sufferer and I thought nothing in the world would cure me.It crushed my self esteem ,destroyed my social life ,and pushed me to nearly commit suicide. Now everything is fine .So believe me.Am talking from experience.
