When my son gets a fever his appetite naturally decreases and I allow him to drink water (not cold) and to eat any fruit that he desires. His fevers usually diminish within 24 hours by simply eating pomegranates (if they are in season), otherwise baby carrots, apples, and grapes work just as well.

I got this from another source and it really works! Soak washcloths with egg whites put on the bottom of feet and cover with socks! Brings down a fever quickly.

this is an old Grenadian remedy. rub the juice of about 3 limes over your body. if the fever persists take a bath in 4-5 gallons of room temperature water mixed with the juice of about 8-10 limes. THIS REALLY WORKS!!

use light blanket and clothing to reduce body tempererature. Drink bland fluids and fruits necessary to strengthen your immune system.

Lime & Olive oil

Mix Lime and Olive oil together then apply it all over the body from head to toe. My friend suggested this concoction and I swear this works! From now on I keep a bottle of this mixture in my fridge just in case.
