My father-in-law used burnt flour on my son. What I mean is use regular flour put it in a pan stir it around until it's a light brown color. Let it cool then put it on like baby powder. It worked for me.

Apply directly to the rash abundant olive oil. In areas where the skin folds, with a cotton ball saturated with olive oil apply to the area and leave in the cotton ball in between the skin folds.
You can also add cocoa butter to the olive oil.
Apply the mixture at least four times a time. Only use the cotton ball once, change it every six hours.
Remember to apply mixture with clean dry hands.

This remedy has been used in my family for generations and it works every time. Simply take regular white flour and cook it in a dry pan until it is brown (burn it basically). Let it cool and then put it in an old empty powder bottle and apply every time you change the babies diaper until rash is cleared up (usually 24-48 hours). I've tried other things like Desitin or A&D,even miconazole nitrate 2% (which does work sometimes) but this works every time I do it without fail. The browned flour is good for up to 2 weeks but I make a new batch for each case (the fresher the better).Good Luck!
