Diaper Rash Cure

Scorched All Purpose flour, it works on diaper rash or adult type gulds. Believe it or not, I have made many a baby content and helped out adults who had bad rashes from caustic body waste after colon cancer with this remedy. Take a cup or two of all purpose flour and spread it out on a cookie sheet. Put it in the oven and bake it, stirring a couple times to brown it really good all the way through. When browned, pour into sealable bowl and cool. Use it like a powder, ugly; but the results are beautiful. I've seen this relieve symptoms over night and within a few hours

As odd as it sounds and and as scared as I was to put a foreign substance on my baby's bottom. veg shortening was the cure. After taking her thru emergency because none of the store over the counter stuff worked neither did the stuff her pedi perscribed, a friend recommended that and it worked, in 2 days it was all healed and she was back to her daily routine.

Aloe Vera

I used Aloe Vera. Fresh from my plant in my window. Clean the area, let it air dry, then squeeze the aloe leaf and apply gel to rash. Also breast milk it soothing, and can be used to clean baby's bum if wipes are too harsh.

I have used cold plain yogurt when I have had a yeast infection and I am sure it would work just as well for diaper rash. It's cooling and soothing - can be used at each diaper change. I wouldn't use it with cornflour well... maybe you coud make a paste but I don't think it would be a good idea!!.

The only thing that I have found that works great for a diaper rash is Maizena corn starch. You can find it in the spanish food section in your grocery store. I put it on after every diaper change. It usually only takes about a day or two before it heals. You can usually find it under $2.00.
