Put cream on your feet after showering. You can wear your socks also. It worked and I had the worst feet ever!

Dry Cracked Feet

suggested by Charles on Saturday, July 28, 2007

Honey, Bees Honey, works. spread it on your feet then put your socks on. amazingly when you remove your socks at the end of the day. There is absolutely no trace of the honey and your feet are soft. Additionally, i fold up a napkin of about 3 or 4 and put it in my shoe. it absorbs the sweat and moisture.

cracked heels

I have been using a pumice stone and a body scrub, then I use Burt's Bees shea butter hand repair cream and wear socks to bed. I also have recently started taking Omega 3 so both have probably done the trick.

Bye-Bye Cracks

suggested by Kela on Tuesday, July 10, 2007

First - remove bacteria: Soak heels in mixture of one part warm water and two parts tooth-whitening rinse for 15 minutes. (Otherwise, use straight hydrogen peroxide soak.) Next - Circulation and exfoliation: Massage heels with Denorex dandruff shampoo and conditioner. At the same time, exfoliate with pumice stone using the Denorex bubbles. Rinse and pat dry. Moisturize and condition: Massage a nickle-sized dollop of coconut oil or virgin cold-pressed olive oil into each heel. Rest: Cover with cotton or silk ankle socks and wear them to bed. Tip: Handwash the socks in the morning and hang them to dry for repeat treatments in the evening.

FOUND IT! Take Hydrogen peroxide-outside-on your cement porch or patio, pour some on the ground and rub your heels into it ,the cemement acts like the pumice stone and your feet are clean and smoother. follow with a moisturizer. good luck-worked for me when nothing else did.

Wear your shoes!

suggested by Melanie on Sunday, June 10, 2007

I've had horribly cracked skin on my feet since last winter. & they were painful cracks that wouldn't heal - they hurt to walk on. I work at home and had started just wearing socks around the house. I read somewhere that it's bad to do that - no bare feet because your feet are pounding the floor and that's how you can get calluses. I tried so many lotions and soaks, etc. I've finally figured out how to cure my cracked feet! I wear my shoes and socks/hoes every day all day & added a Dr. Scholl's padded insert for $1.59 at Target. I also use a pumice stone & then use Callex or some other foot lotion about 2 to 3 times a day. And finally the cracks are gone and no more pain! Hope this helps!

When showering, use a pumice stone to scrape away dead, harsh skin (lightly)Then apply a half dollar amount of petrolium jelly to dry feet. Cover with socks& leave overnight. Reapeat for 3 days, by 4th day be amazed. to maintain soft feet do once a week & SAY BYE BYE TO TROUBLESOME FEET!

snad away the problem

suggested by andrew on Sunday, May 27, 2007

I have thick skin on my heels and I bought a strip of stair step sandpaper because its waterproof and stuck it to a basketball post.I now take a spray bottle of water and lean my back against the post and spray water on my heel while standing there on one leg sanding the heel by moving up and down the post on the sandpaper and spraying a little water to keep the skin from gumming up the sandpaper..works great...waterproof 60-80 grit sandpaper would also work.
