Always USED to have cracked heels
suggested by Donna

I can not remember a time where I didn't have cronic cracked heels in the winter. Until 3 years ago when I actually followed a low calorie, no sugar, no white flour meal plan and lost weight. In the first paragraph of the symptoms it does say that the cracked skin is from pressure and for me it was excess weight putting way to much excess pressure on my poor splitting heels. Praise Yahweh, it is no longer a problem and if you want a real change in your life, this is a good start!

I'm surprised by the suggestion to not use vasoline. Vasoline is the one product that actually has worked wonders on my feet. Expensive moisturizers have never worked despite the suggestion

I live on a farm and milk goats. We use udder balm on the goats when they have a scratch on their udders. It works well for cracked feet also.
I have also used the emu oil and it does seem to work well. Golden seal in a moisturizing salve is also healing, as well as a bit of a pain reliever for any sore flesh wound.

I tried everything imaginable and nothing worked until I used Lansinoh brand pure lanolin that is meant for breastfeeding moms. After about a week, there was a tremendous improvement.

DO NOT use vaseline on your feet as it is not a moisturizer. Vaseline is a barrier that will not allow any moisture in to the feet. Instead, cover heels or feet with a good moisturizer, wrap in saran wrap, put socks on and leave on overnight. This will take a few treatments.

For cracked heels and other foot problems such as thickened toe nails, foot fungus, foot odor, and athletes foot, the following remedy should be employed. Our own urine has bateria and fungus killing properties. It is suggested that urinating in the shower be done whenever taking a shower. This will constantly bathe the feet in urine and kill bacteria and fungus. Some heel cracking seems normal but any cracking due to a fungus will be corrected with urine. Although, this may seem somewhat gross, it does work and has been successful for many of my family and friends.

Vick's Vapor Rub - rub it on and then put socks on. Do this once a day and after 4-5 days you will no longer have cracks.
