For quick relief of a deep cough that will last for at least 4 hours apply Vick's Vaporub to the bottoms of both feet and then put white socks on to keep the ointment from rubbing off. The relief will come in minutes and last a few hours. Works great to help children stop coughing so they can sleep at night. It even works well for adults. I know it sounds too easy, but try it ... it works!

Cough troubles your stomach,so it is better to keep away from eating full stomach during the coughing days.Talk less,relax and do some breathing excercise like deep inhaling and exhaling for 10 minutes.

this has worked ever since my mother was a child. Take a medium size onion and cut it up, with the peelings, in a medium size pot. Add 2 cups of water and bring to a boil. Cover and let it sit for about 5 minutes. Pour the tea into a cup, add honey and lemon juice. Drink about 8 cups daily for 2-3 days, and the couch is completely gone.

Drink Tumeric powder mixed in milk. 1 cup milk and 1 tea-spoon of tumeric powder. this is very effective. it doesnt give you instant relief but it helps remove the cough. have this twice a day, morning and evening. feel free to add sugar to this as well. Good luck

Hot Potato Soup: Peeling several (4) white potatoes dice, 2 cups water, White Onions diced, lightly salted ,fresh chipped Garlic or Garlic Spice, chop/fresh parsley boil & simmer until well done, 3 servings a day. (calms the cought & quiets conjestion.
