These remedies have worked on me. i agree w/ emergen-c....take one a day. also drink a type of mint tea. like tazo refresh and for bed time...sleepy time tea w/ lemon and honey. also don't forget the benefits of aromatherapy. a few drops of eucalyptus oil will clear congestion and lavender will soothe and help those hard to sleep nights. get better soon!

Make scotch broth soup and add extra 6 garlic cloves, 6 red chillis with the seeds still in tacked. this will blow the cold away after a few bowls full after a few days. Ensure you drink plenty of water with lemon juice .

Peel the skin (just the yellow) off six lemons and discard. Next, peel the white pulp off the lemons and eat it. I've used this for years, and it always eliminates the cold in two days or less. It should be started in the first day or two of the cold.
