One year ago this month, I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis and lost 35 lbs-went down to 115 lbs. One month ago, my father, Dr. Billie Martin (Houston) told me to take omega 3-fatty acids, 10 per day, for 1 month. After 3 weeks, my condition is COMPLETELY CURED and I don't have to take any medicine anymore.

I have had UC for over 22 years. Had bad reaction to Rx meds. 20 years ago, I started taking 10g of Fish Oil (1000mg Omega-3 Fatty Acid gel-caps)per day. Was symptom-free within 30 days and have remained so ever since. Does not halt progression of disease, but caused me to function normally (2-3 bm's per day, no blood, no cramps, no mucus). Best place to buy: Sam's Club---400 gel caps for a little over $8.00.

Slippery Elm & Baking Soda Enemas

I took 2 Baking soda enemas to neutralize the excess acid in the colon... probably the underlying cause of colitis and then did a slippery elm enema. Not fun at all, but it worked and fast too. Stopped a bad flare-up in 3 days. Also fasted drinking only Ensure Plus

Slippery elm saved me. I came down with Colitis a year ago, and I lost almost 20 pounds. I now take Slippery Elm everyday, in tea or pill form, and I haven't had any problems since, and I eat what I want.

FYI-alcohol played a major part in my colitis. I drank wine quite often. And was having a major problem with colitis. My Doctor never told me that wine could cause the problem, but as soon as I quit drinking all together, tried your fruit juice fasting remedy and complete bed rest for one week, I have never had an outbreak of colitis ever again!
