If you will find honey from around the area in which you reside you can avoid all outdoor allergies because the pollen in the honey builds up your immune system. It's a great old time remedy.

Allergy medicine – avoidance method
suggested by MuraliMohan
on Wednesday, January 23, 2008
The best way to treat an allergy is strict avoidance. For instance, if you are allergic to wheat, you should cut out wheat foods and wheat-containing products from your diet and just take vitamin supplements to make up for those that you have lost as a result of your restricted diet. Or if you’re allergic to dust mites, then you ought to keep your house as clean and as dust-free as possible and use even air filters and purifiers just in case.
The allergy medicines are provided for you because if you bought a product and you didn’t check the label and in turns out it contains some ingredients that you are allergic to, even though often these things are easier said than done. So you’re allergic to cats but you like cats so you keep one anyway. So even with an avoidance method, you can’t really help suffering the symptoms of an allergy. That’s why allergy medicines are provided for you.

OPC3
suggested by chris
on Saturday, June 30, 2007
There's a product called OPC 3 sold by marketamerica.com, it's basically a super strong anti-oxidant. One tiny capful of the powder has cleared up my allergies within FIVE minutes of ingesting it. It honestly sounds ridiculous, but because the powder is in an isotonic form, it's absorbed by the body immediately, and the antioxidants go to work. I've used it to help with dog/cat/pollen allergies that bothered my eyes and sinuses.

Thyroid help
suggested by K
on Saturday, December 9, 2006
Iodine has a large impact on the thyroid since 80% of it is stored there. Try eating foods like salmon or something else with iodine in it, it might be an iodine defficiency. Dont over do it though.Good brain food, tons of protein, and has tons of omega 3's. Salmon 3 times a week should be good. Also check out Baar.com. They have great iodine and thyroid supplements like formula #636 will work wonders on a middle aged or older person.

In southwest Texas, we have a problem with mountain cedar. People have reported good results in stopping the symptoms if they swallow 3-4 of the cedar berries for 10 days. Some say they have no more symptoms.
