tips to cure pimple marks and other marks
suggested by akshatha
on Sunday, March 23, 2008
1. Mash a ripe papaya, add some honey drops and massage on your skin for 10mins then let it dry and then wash the face. Do this for one week everyday. You'll find improvement in your skin and don't forget to apply moisturizer after washing your face. 2. Take some jaggery and dissolve it in tamarind solution and apply on the black spots caused due to sun or due to ageing. Doing this for one month will surly lighten those marks and will almost become invisible. I had tried it and it has worked well for me. 3. Instead of using scrubs that contain chemicals u can mix honey and sea salt and use it as a scrub. 4. You can use gramflour mixed with curd to increase your complexion and reduce oiliness of the skin 5. To prevent pimples u can use the mixture of corn flour and curd. It works wonders to prevent pimples. 6. Mix glycerin, rose water in equal amount and after cleansing your face u can use it as toner for dry skin. 7. Take some milk cream and add small amount of turmeric and apply on pimples. This will reduce pimples 8. You can also use toothpaste on pimples to make them dry up.

sulfur ointment and lavender oil
suggested by jessica
on Friday, March 21, 2008
Wash face twice a day with a washcloth and good old fashioned lye soap. Washing the face with a washcloth works really well. It pulls all the toxins lurking in the pores and helps get rid of blackheads. Even one of those faces wash pads work well. After washing my face, I usually apply witch hazel astringent on my skin. I have been using this for almost a month now and my blackheads have reduced significantly along with the washcloth routine. After that, I usually apply some sort of moisturizer that isn't too oily, except coconut oil seems to work great and doesn't leave skin feeling oily at all. After I apply some moisturizer at night, I usually use sulfur ointment. This stuff works great. There is such a thing as sulfur soap but too much sulfur is harsh on the skin and the ointment is much more effective. I have noticed changes in my skin after two nights of using it. Only apply to breakouts and blemishes and really, it is only needed to be used once a day because to much can dry out skin. Plus, it leaves a residue so while sleeping, it's working. It is the key to the routine. Also, after I apply some moisture on my skin, I usually apply both lavender and tea tree oil on my skin. Lavender is excellent for scars also clean the face. Tea tree is great for a popped pimple. I have tried so many different methods and all of these products gotten rid of my acne and has lifted my spirits. A well-balanced diet is also important as well as drinking plenty of water and staying away from cigarettes and alcohol. Alcohol depletes the brain of vitamins essential for the balance of skin. I also recommend two tablespoons of cod liver oil a day and some vitamin c twice a day.

I use Beaver Brand extra hot horseradish. THIS PRODUCT REALLY STINGS. NOT FOR SENITIVE SKIN. It will also cause temporary redness, but it is worth it. Just apply to bumps and active acne ONLY! It will reduce the size of bumps if not get rid of them.

CLAY POWDER WONDER REMEDY
suggested by ELENA
on Sunday, December 30, 2007
Prepare a mixture of ASLAVITAL Clay and drinking still water (do not use mineral or spring water); the mixture should be rather thick, consistent, and easy to apply. Apply the paste on face and forehead, like a mask, avoiding the eyes and mouth areas. Let the mask work for 20 minutes. Remove the dried clay with warm water. For the beginning, the acne treatment should be followed for 7(seven) sequential days. After these days, follow the treatment 2 (two) times a week, until healing. In case of suppurating pimples, apply little cataplasms directly on the pimples. Let them work for 2 (two) hours than exchange them. In a lapse of 24 hours, you can apply 3 or 4 cataplasm series. Apply the latest Clay cataplasms in the evening and let it work until next morning. This is a sure of getting rid of the acne for good! I got rid of the nasty acne in less than a month with this treatment.
