Pain during rolfing is often mistaken for soft tissue injury, which it is not, rolfers often insist that for the pain should exist for rolfing to be really effective, clients are often asked to breathe within each technique, breathing enhances further effects of rolfing.
Rolfers are personnel trained in rolfing, which are aware of techniques in rolfing.

Each rolfing session might last only 90 minutes, there are a total of 10 sessions, sometimes these are more depending on the rolfer.
