A cosmetic surgery is one that enhances the physical appearance of a person. An increasing number of people are now going in for various kinds of cosmetic surgeries, to either correct a structural defect, remove a scar, birthmark, or any signs of aging.

Cosmetic surgery, also known as aesthetic surgery, includes procedures such as facelifts, blepharoplasty, rhinoplasty, and rhytidoplasty to name a few. Cosmetic surgery is also performed to change a body part to look better and more aesthetically pleasing in appearance. Cosmetic surgeries are specialized types of surgeries that require highly trained and experienced surgeons to ensure minimum scarring and speedy recovery.
