The eyes are very important organs that help us with one of the most useful senses, the sense of sight. The structure of the eye itself is very interesting. The internal part of the eye is made up of a lens and a receptive surface that helps to project and process the image. This image is passed through the optic nerves into the brain. The surface of the eye is always kept slightly moist. This moisture allows the eye lids to smoothly close and open. The moisture also helps to capture dust and dirt particles.
