Rashes are marks that can appear anywhere on the body due to a number of reasons. Though rashes can be present on any part of the body, if you get them on your face, it can be really bothersome. While most rashes can be completely dried out and removed without a trace, there is always a likelihood that a rash may leave an ugly mark behind. Perhaps this is why the presence of a rash on the face can be extremely distressing.
Rashes are usually the products of allergic reactions. Rashes may be formed due to the contact of substances which your body is sensitive to. On the face, rashes are usually due to an allergic reaction or due to oversensitivity to a cosmetic preparation or a make up product. Another way you could develop a rash on your face is insect bites.
The simplest face rash cure is to avoid using a cosmetic product that you have recently started using. If there has been such a cosmetic product, you should stop using it and exchange it for another hypoallergenic product. Usually it is best to avoid using too many cosmetic products on the face.
If a rash on the face spreads to the rest of the body as well, there is a high likelihood that this is caused by an allergic reaction. In such a case, it is best to consult a doctor and get proper medication for the face rash. If you are interested in home remedies for face rash, the best thing to do is to apply a generous quantity of fresh aloe vera gel on your rashes. Aloe vera gel would soothe the rash and dry it out completely. Other effective face rash cures are vitamin E oil and cod liver oil, both of which are excellent for the regeneration and rejuvenation of the skin proteins.
Another effective face rash treatment is calcium water. This can be made by adding a teaspoon of calcium gluconate powder into a cup of lukewarm water. Soak a soft washcloth in this lukewarm solution and use it to wipe your rash several times during the day. If you cannot find calcium gluconate, you can also use an oatmeal soak. Cook a cup of oatmeal in water and let it cool. Then apply the cooked oatmeal on your face to get instant relief from the rash, if at all it is stinging or itching.
