Thin Hair Natural Treatments:

Hair loss is a persistent problem for people all over the world. Stress, excessive workloads, bad lifestyle habits, lack of a balanced diet, and minimal exercise is causing a host of health problems. Hair fall and thinning hair are two such problems that are a byproduct of all these factors. If you once had a luxurious, thick mane, and now are left with a thinning patch or locks of stringy hair, then you might want to visit a hair care specialist. Before you do that, you can also try a few simple home remedies to treat thinning hair problem and to make your hair look fluffy and full-bodied.

  • Massage olive oil into your scalp and leave it overnight. In the morning, wash it off with a mild shampoo. It is believed that olive oil cleans the trapped dirt and debris in your hair and takes away the extra sebum that clogs the follicles and thins them.
  • Take some dry red bell peppers and boil in water for a few minutes. When the tonic cools down, rinse your hair with it. It is believed to make hair stronger.
  • Mix some almond oil with fresh aloe vera gel and massage it into your scalp. Rinse after sometime for a cool feeling.
  • A regular scalp massage with warm coconut oil is also supposed to make hair stronger and thicker. Massage can increase the blood circulation and make hair healthy.

Cure for Thinning Hair:

  • If you have stringy, thin hair and want to camouflage it while going for a party, then get that blow dryer out and fluff up your hair. Style the hair with a gel or water. Of course, you must remember that excessive use of blow dryers is not good for your hair. Also, hold the hair dryer about three inches away from your hair. (Note: This should only be done occasionally.)
  • Wash your hair on a regular basis with a protein-based shampoo. Shampoos that have hydrolyzed proteins can make hair look thicker as they are supposed to increase the diameter of the hair.
  • Condition your hair with a homemade recipe – mix a pint of water and a spoonful of white vinegar, and use this to add volume to your hair.
  • Turn to the humble egg for making your hair look shiny and full-bodied. Crack an egg on your head and massage the yolk into your hair. Then rinse and shampoo. Egg has animal protein that makes hair look fluffy.
  • Style your hair occasionally with a good quality mousse.
