There are many health and beauty experts that believe that the way you look on the outside gives a good indication of your health on the inside. If you do not drink enough water, your skin will look dry and cracked. If you do not eat right and take care of your body, then your hair will look limp and thin. When you take good care of your body, then you can help prevent hair loss.

What to Eat to Keep Hair Healthy:
There are things that you can eat to help keep your hair healthy and to prevent hair breakage and hair loss. Omega-3 fatty acids are a good example. These acids are essential to keeping your hair, skin and nails as healthy as possible. You can take omega-3 supplements, or you can eat foods such as tuna, mackerel, and salmon or walnuts and almonds. Folic acid, and Vitamins B-6 and B-12 will also keep your hair looking its best. It is sometimes hard to get enough of these nutrients, so take a good supplement or eat plenty of potatoes, spinach and bananas, which are all high in the Vitamin B-6. You can get folic acid as a supplement in your orange juice and other products.

Of course, protein is also very important. You need to make sure you are eating lean proteins such as white chicken, lean beef and eggs. Egg whites are excellent as well. Soy protein will also do the trick. There are many foods that have soy added to the list of ingredients and these are excellent sources of protein. Don’t forget to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water. When you drink water, your hair will look healthier and thicker.

You can fit hair loss by staying healthy, which means you need to nourish your body properly.
