Foot odor is the most embarrassing problem to be faced by an individual. Feet are the most commonly neglected parts, during a make-over. Simple care can be initiated by washing them regularly, especially if you sweat a lot. Accessories of the feet, such as sandals, socks and shoes have to be given equal importance. Smelly feet can be known publicly, as soon as you remove your socks or shoes. This is especially seen in people who travel a lot and those in senior positions, as they are unable to remove them for a long part of the day. Try checking out these tips:

- Tea bags soaked in warm water is placed on the feet. The chemical tannic acid is beneficial in removing the odor. The decoction of the tea is used as a soak.
- Foot deodorants are effective against odor and control them. Underarm deodorants can also be a good and cost effective alternative. A deodorant containing aluminium chloride hexahydrate helps.
- Acne removers can be helpful at times.
- Deficiency of minerals can be the cause and should be treated under the guidance of a physician.
- Wear clean socks and wipe the inside of the shoes with a moist cloth, to keep them clean.
