Enlarged Testicle Treatment, Causes:

Testicle enlargement, also known as scrotal swelling, is essentially the abnormal enlargement of the scrotum, which is the sac surrounding the testicles. The average and unaffected testicles are small and have the same texture, firmness and shape. Even in the case of scrotal swelling, this is unlikely to change as the change does not really take place in the testicles themselves, but more in the sac surrounding them. The condition is known to affect men at any age and may or may not be accompanied by pain. The swelling may be on both sides and the penis may also be involved in a few cases. Another aspect to consider is the fact that any swelling around the testicles is likely to be a tumor – which is one of the foremost signs of testicular cancer. Testicular cancer is one of the most common male specific forms of cancer and is known to affect men predominantly between the ages of 15 and 40 years. The higher percentage rate of those affected, happens to be those in their mid twenties. The condition is spreading very rapidly and recent studies have shown that almost 7500 new cases are diagnosed on a yearly basis in the United States of America alone.

The root cause of the condition is still largely unknown, however experts believe that a combination of various factors place an individual at a higher risk of being affected by it. Hereditary, for example, is a common factor where the condition is passed down from one generation to another within the same blood line. An undescended testicle, which is a common occurrence, increases the risk of suffering from the condition. It is important to remember that even after surgically moving the testicle into the scrotum; the risk level does not change. Men born with defects of certain organs including the kidneys, penis or testicles are also at a higher risk than others.

The use of dandelion is regarded to be very helpful when treating testicular cancer. This is primarily because of its ability to interfere with the initiation and growth of cancer cell tumors while also improving immunity. All that is required is to dry and powder the roots of dandelion and boil about 1 teaspoon of the powder in a cup of milk or water. Filter and drink the concoction twice a day over a period of 5 months to see a significant improvement in the prognosis of the condition.
