Arthritis is known to be a chronic disease and is caused due to excessive toxins accumulating in the joints. It can lead to a weak digestive system resulting in a disturbed colon. So, the undigested food and waste accumulates, allowing toxins to reach the joints. Effective treatments to cure arthritis are a combination of natural remedies like, herbal medicine and Yoga with exercise and supported by a proper diet. Some of the natural remedies include herbal medicines such as; Ashwagandha which is an Asian plant relating to the potato family. The roots of the plant are used to treat rheumatic arthritis which is a chronic type of arthritis.

Ginger root is another one of the natural remedy to cure arthritis.  Research has shown that the root of the ginger helps to produce leukotrienes and prostaglandins which are involved in inflammation and pain. Having powdered ginger has been proven to provide pain relief with no side effects. Boswellia extract is also considered as an effective natural remedy to cure arthritis as it reduces swelling and pain in the joints. It is also known to reduce the stiff joints, which is a common symptom of arthritis. Boswellia extract have been proved to be pain reliever and is anti-inflammatory. It also improves blood supply to the joints and speeds up cartilage formation.

There are herbal oil and capsules available namely Arthcareis, which reduces and eventually removes stiffness. It also improves mobility of limbs. Apart from the medicines, diet is also important in curing arthritis. As it is proved, many cases of arthritis are caused by deficiency in nutrition. So, having a diet rich in vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants maintain the balance in the body thus helping combat arthritis.

Some other natural remedies to cure arthritis like having raw potato juice or having black gingerly seeds soaked overnight help in relieving joint pains. Also, water kept overnight in a copper container is also considered a natural remedy to cure arthritis. Another natural way of combating arthritis is Yoga and Exercise. Certain asanas in yoga are considered to help ease the pain, reduce fatigue and feel overall in a great shape. It is always recommended to do yoga under proper guidance. Working out or exercising two to three times weekly in combination of light activities to strength training, such as cycling, mild aerobics, walking, swimming etc definitely helps. Especially for arthritis sufferers; motion exercises, which help maintain joint movement and in turn reduce stiff joints, strength exercises to increase muscle strength which protect and support the joints, and aerobics to improve overall functioning of the joints, to control weight and improve fitness in general is recommended.  Other than exercises, using massage oil and having bath in Epsom salt and water is also considered as a natural remedy to cure arthritis.
