Kidney Stone Remedies: How can I Remove my Kidney Stones

Having kidney stones can be extremely painful. They are a hard mass, which is developed from the crystals that separate the urine within the urinary tact. The majority of the cases of kidney stones are of the calcium oxalate variety. The other types of stones include uric acid stones, cystine and calcium phosphate stones. Most of these kidney stones pass out from the body by themselves without being noticed, but stones that last a long time or create complications such as intense pain in the groin and blood in the urine need be treated with other techniques.

Cure for Kidney Stones

The first step to cure kidney stones is to drink lots of water as it is very necessary for you to urinate as much as possible. You can also drink coconut water to help you pass small stones through the urine. It helps reduce the toxins in our body and helps the body stay cool. Having fruits like watermelon and apples is highly beneficial. Watermelons contain a good amount of potassium salts and have the highest concentration of water among fruits. Watermelons are known to be one of the safest and the best fruits for kidney stones. Grapes too have an excellent diuretic value. Besides the water content, they also have low sodium chloride content. Kidney beans are very good for curing kidney stones. You should consume kidney beans in the following manner. First, remove the beans from the pods, slice the pods and put some of them in hot water. Boil the mixture slowly for around six hours. The liquid should then be strained and allowed to cool completely – you should allow it to cool for at least eight hours. You must ensure that you drink this solution every two hours. For best results, continue drinking this solution regularly for a week. However, ensure that you keep making it every day because the effectiveness of the kidney bean pods wears off in one day once they have been boiled.

To ensure that kidney stones do not recur, you will have to make some changes in your lifestyle. Include a lot of Vitamin A in your diet such as broccoli, beef liver and apricots. Avoid fried and oily food or any kind of food that would cause you acidity. Strictly avoid alcohol and chocolates. Regular exercise and sufficient amount of sleep is a must. After trying various natural methods, if the pain persists you should go visit a doctor.
