Causes of juvenile rheumatoid arthritis are still unclear; research is still going on to find out the cause. Some of the research done so far claim that it happens because the white blood cells present in the body loses the ability to distinguish between the healthy and unhealthy cells. It is referred as autoimmune disease i.e. the disease caused due to inability to differentiate clearly between the healthy cells from the bacteria and viruses.
This condition is very harmful, the body starts secreting chemicals and these chemicals starts destroying the cells. The immunity system of the body is in jeopardy; the protector becomes the destructor.
It is very much essential that one is able to identify the causes of juvenile rheumatoid arthritis; early detection helps in taking effective measures to control the disease. There are three types of Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis: Polyarticular arthritis, Pauciarticular JRA and Systemic JRA. Symptoms may vary in each of the cases but in each case the pain, the swelling and the inflammation is intense.
It is always better to go for natural process to cure the disease; physical exercises which tones up the muscles and making it flexible may help in healing the disease permanently. A well-trained therapist should be consulted; he will provide important guideline sand will also recommend certain exercises which will help in restoring the flexibility in the joints.
The children are in the growing stage; during that stage their immune systems are not well developed. So it is imperative that the children should be given nutritious diet during their growing period. Fast foods and junk foods which are great in taste should be done away with; these foods may fill the belly but will deprive the children of essential minerals and vitamins. Lots of green vegetables and fruits should be incorporated in the diet of the children.
If the pain is too intense one can also go for medicines like ibuprofen, NSAIDs and other drugs which reduce the pain. During the pain also the diseased should continue performing certain mild physical exercises like walking, bicycling, swimming etc. this will keep the muscles warm and flexible.
Although the causes of juvenile rheumatoid arthritis are not clear but there are ways by which it can be permanently cured.
