Home Remedies for Asthma cure

Asthma is a condition in which, the airways get inflamed, and this affects the way you breathe in and out. In simpler terms, asthma can cause breathing problems. In Greek, asthma means “short drawn breath”.

Causes of Asthma:

• Asthma can affect people who do not exercise regularly. Those who do not exercise regularly can be more susceptible to irritants and pollutants and can fall prey to asthma.

• Asthma can even be a genetic condition and it might be hereditary.

• A faulty diet can also make you more vulnerable to contracting asthma. So make sure that the food you eat is healthy and nutritious.

• Some people become asthmatic due to the profession they are in and the kind of chemicals or pollutants that they are exposed to.

• Environmental conditions like excessive pollution, pollen, dust, house mites, smoke, fumes and allergens can trigger of asthma.

Home Remedies for Asthma:

• Some believe that steam baths can unclog pores and flush out toxins. Even sunbaths, hipbaths and footbaths can bring relief to congested lungs.

• Honey is important for treating asthma too. When you have an asthmatic attack, you can place a jar full of honey under your nose for instant relief. Alternatively, mix a spoonful of honey with water and drink it a few times a day.

• Boil garlic cloves in milk and allow it to cool sufficiently before drinking it.

• Boil ginger tea with a few cloves of garlic and drink the mixture twice a day for relief.

• Mix turmeric powder in a glass of milk and drink this a few time a day. You might want to drink this on an empty stomach for better results.

• Mix camphor with mustard oil and massage it on your chest during an attack.

• Boil water and drop some caraway seeds in it. Inhale the steam for relief.

• Make a mixture by blending lemon juice, honey and radish. Place the blended paste in a saucepan and cook it on low heat.
• Mix half a spoon of licorice root tea in a cup of hot water. Strain the mixture and drink it after 10 minutes for relief.

• Avoid pollution and dust and wear a face mask when dusting or cleaning your house.

• Boil a few cloves of garlic in water, and mix some honey into the mixture. Drink it a few times a day.
