The remedy that worked for me was minoxidil. Though it is a medicine, it can be bought over the counter and applied at home regularly. The operative chemical was originally developed as an antihypertensive drug. Later, it was found that minoxidil also regenerates dormant hair follicles. I used this stuff for four months and got results. At first, only a kind of peach fuzz grew back. But the bald patches were covered in a year and I continue using it.
Exposing the balding patch to UV rays is also beneficial. Hair grows faster with ultraviolet radiation. Don’t overdo it, since this can cause other problems. You should also regulate your diet to include more proteins.
