When it comes to beauty care we tend to pay little attention to our feet. In our body, the foot plays an important role. It is a remarkable piece of engineering that the almighty has created.
Unfortunately, most people don’t give their feet much thought until there is a problem. Foot care is very important in order to keep us healthy and beautiful. The skin on our feet is very delicate and foot care is must to make our foot look beautiful.
Lack of proper care for feet result in many problems like corns and bunions, cracks, infections and ingrown nails. Problems associated with our feet should be taken as the first sign of more serious medical conditions such as arthritis, diabetes, and nerve and circulatory disorders.
The following steps can be kept in our mind to have a healthy foot.
• Washing our feet daily with soap and drying it thoroughly, especially between the toes.
• Whenever we have our bath we should scrub our feet, using a pumice stone or a firm brush to exfoliate dead skin.
• Corns and calluses can be avoided by scrubbing them with foot file.
• Toenails should be properly trimmed so that the ingrown nails can be avoided.
• Wearing a clean socks and changing them daily is important.
• At the end one should always buy the shoes that fit them, wearing comfortable shoes that fit well can prevent many foot ailments.
Fortunately, most foot problems can be prevented by taking good care of them.
