Dark skin
Human beings are blessed with different skin colors, having different tones and different hues as well. Some are fairer and some have darker skin. Some people have naturally dark skin and some gets darker due to various external factors like pigmentation or exposure to the Sun.Usually, the darkening of the skin appears when there is an excess of skin pigmentation, also called called melanin in the body. It is also hereditary and passes from one generation to another.
The dark skin cannot be changed but by taking care it can be stopped from further darkening. There are some home remedies quite helpful for treating dark skin.

- A natural skin pack can be made by mixing 1tsp of milk powder, 1tsp of honey, 1tsp of lemon juice and half a teaspoon of almond oil. This can be applied on the face. This lends glow to the skin.
- Oatmeal mixed with curd and tomato juice is a good remedy for removing tan and lightening of skin. Turmeric powder along with lime juice also helps in the same process.
- The slices of raw potato can be applied on the face as it helps to reduce blemishes and marks on the skin.
- A paste of gram flour mixed with raw milk and lemon is a helpful pack for dark skin.
- Sunscreen should always be applied when going out in the skin to protect the skin from tanning as well as sun’s UV rays.
