Hormonal Imbalance Symptoms
Several hormonal imbalance symptoms would depend upon your gender and the reason why you are suffering from hormonal imbalances as well. Some hormonal changes are a part of life, irrespective of gender. For instance, when you hit adolescence, your body and general frame of mind will change a great deal. The secondary sexual characteristics will start appearing as a part of the normal hormonal changes in your body. Boys will develop facial and pubic hair, their voices will crack and become hoarser and they may also be infested with acne. Girls on the other hand will develop breasts and pubic hair, start getting their monthly menstrual cycles and may be infested with acne as well. Up to this, the hormonal changes in the body are fairly normal. After the early 20s are past, if there are changes of a different kind that the body is experiencing, there should be really strong reasons for it. In some women, periods become irregular, they start developing primary hair in areas such as the chin and chest and develop irritability and moodiness. For most part, it is a response to the body’s natural demands for sexual intercourse and a lack of fulfilling these demands. A hormonal imbalance will occur, as the sexual hormones will become more abundant in the body.
However, this is not the only reason that the body may be experiencing these types of hormonal changes. It is also possible that you are living in a stressful environment which can cause many hormonal changes and resultant moodiness as well. In this case, the changes would also not be gender specific. Along with stress, emotional upheaval, can also be a reason why the body will experience hormonal changes. Any sort of disturbance in normal sexual routines can also result in hormonal changes. Generally, hormonal changes are very slight and have more of an effect on a person’s psyche than on their body and so there in most cases there are no external effects. If however, there is excessive or minimal production of any hormone in the body there may be external changes as well. Resultant side effects include excessive weight gain or loss, hair loss, deterioration of the texture of the skin, development of hair in unusual parts of the body and so on. It is very difficult to be specific in stating what the precise reasons for all or any of these symptoms could be. If something is seriously out of order, then you should visit a doctor and get a medical examination and diagnosis.
